Beach Photography is beautiful, but it comes with unique considerations. From weather to timing to what to expect, these are the questions we're most often asked, and answered with clarity so you can fully enjoy the process.
The Emerald Coast is known for its beauty and its unpredictability. Summer afternoons often bring passing thunderstorms, winds, and cloud cover. For this reason, we strongly recommend scheduling your session early in your stay, leaving flexibility should we have to reschedule. Sessions booked for the final day of vacation carry a higher risk of cancellation due to weather change. While we closely monitor conditions and can adapt to light cloud cover or breeze, severe weather (heavy rain, lightning, tropical systems, or unsafe wind conditions) may require rescheduling to ensure both safety and quality.
Yes, when severe weather impacts safety or quality of your session, we will work with you to reschedule to the next mutually available date during your stay. Because weather is a known and unavoidable factor of beach photography, session retainers are non-refundable. Planning flexibility into your trip helps protect your investment and ensures the best possible outcome.
We recommend booking your session as early as possible, ideally during the first half of your stay. This allows room to adjust for weather while still ensuring availability.
Neutral, natural tones photograph best. We recommend coordinating rather than matching and choosing clothing that feels comfortable and authentic. Please avoid athletic or moisture-wicking fabrics, especially men's performance or golf-style shirts, as they do not photograph well. Images requiring extensive correction due to non-recommended clothing may incur an additional retouching fee. Styling support is available through my curated Client Closet. I'm happy to share the link upon request.
Absolutely! You will receive a curated gallery of high-resolution digital images. Duplicate frames, test shots, and images with closed eyes, etc are removed during the selection process.
I do not place a strict cap on images. Every gallery is thoughtfully curated to include all of the strongest photographs from your session, not an arbitrary number. Image counts vary based on session type, length, and natural flow:
Family sessions: typically 20-75 images
Newborn & Senior sessions: typically 20-40
Weddings & Elopements: Vary widely based on coverage, from dozens to several hundred images.
If a moment is beautiful and meaningful, it belongs in your gallery.
Each image in your gallery is professionally edited with attention to color, light, and overall cohesion. Light retouching may include blemish removal and minor stray hair cleanup. Advanced retouching (such as braces removal, hairstyling, or extensive edits) is available upon request for an additional fee.
No. RAW files are strictly not provided. Editing is an essential part of the artistic process and final presentation of your images, and all delivered photographs reflect our signature style and quality standards.

Absolutely! Your gallery includes access to a professional print store offering high-quality prints, albums, wall art, and cards designed to preserve your images beautifully for generations.
Some beaches in the area require photography permits. All required annual permits are already in place, so you can relax knowing your session is properly authorized and cared for.
